Here we
have a stove in
the Minimalist style
from the 1950/60's
manufactured by the
company BR.
The colour is
a beautiful rich
brown enamel.
It burns wood, coal
or coke making it a
very versatile
stove.
Open the front door
and you'll find a
2nd door as well as
the firebox door.
Fuel is loaded
through
the top door. The
construction is of
heavy cast iron, and
it is quite a lump.
It is in full
functioning order
and the firebox,
grate and riddler
are all in excellent
condition.
The
enamel is in fine
condition, however
I'm afraid that it
has suffered a knock
to the top right
removing some of the
enamel. (see photos) This stove will burn
for around nine
hours with
anthracite.
This is an
unusual Minimalist
style stove
which is ready to
use -
these photos do not
really do it
justice.
The dimensions are:
61cms H x 48cms W x 40cms
D and the
flue size is 9.7cms
