This is truly a stunning Art Deco stove by Deville, called "Marianna". We've managed to date it to sometime in the mid 1930's . What a fabulous Deco style this stove has! It is in a beautiful neutral grey enamel. The enamel and the chrome work are in beautiful condition. Lift the enamel lid and there's a hotplate that can be used for cooking. Logs of up to 40cms (15¾”) are loaded through the side door, and coal can be loaded from the top. This "Marianna" is in fantastic condition , and the colour is really well defined throughout. The firebox, grills and ash box are all in excellent working condition and ready to use. It comes complete with the often lost or broken hook on ash plate ( not shown) This is the multifuel version. Lift the enamel lid and there's a hotplate that can be used for cooking. Logs of up to 40cms (15¾”) are loaded through the side door. This "Marianna" is in good overall condition , and the colour is really well defined throughout. The firebox, has been renewed with a modern steel, the firebrick has also been replaced with a modern fibreboard and the mica viewing windows have also been renewed. The stove is therefore in excellent working condition and ready to use. Please note that the brightwork has been completely stripped and re-nickelled , and the mica windows have been replaced with a top quality mica which will give years of service. This is indeed a rare opportunity for Art Deco lovers to own a stunning, living breathing, original piece of furniture, in a highly unusual colour, that can heat your home and keep your food warm at the same time! The dimensions are: 48cms H (18¾”) x 51cms W (20”) x 32cms D (12½ ”) and the flue size is 8.3cms (3¼”) 24.5cms (9½”) from the floor. It can heat a room of around 100m3 Weight is about 50kgs
