log burner/Multi-Fuel Burner

by

Godin

Price: £375

This is a stove in the Art Deco style from the 1940/50's manufactured by venerated company Godin. The colour is a beautiful rich brown enamel. It burns wood, coal or coke making it a very versatile stove.

Fuel is loaded from the top. Simply lift the enamel lid and then the second lid to the firebox and pop in the coal or wood.

The inner lid is ideal for boiling a kettle or cooking on... perfect for a Pot au feu (stew if you like!) on a cold winters evening aahh!!!

The construction is of heavy cast iron, and it is quite a lump. It is in full functioning order and the firebox, grate and riddler are all in excellent condition. It is in excellent condition and the enamel is in fine condition.

I used this stove in the snug in my own house for a year & can tell you that it heats superbly and will burn for around nine hours with anthracite thereby still "in" the following morning

This is a beautiful Art Deco style stove which is ready to use - these photos do not really do it justice
