This Poele à salle à manger (dining room stove) by Sougland is one of our most recent finds and is a rare find in as much as it is in pristine condition. The intricate detail of the casting illustrates workmanship of this particular period at its best. It was designed for use in the dining room not only keeping the room warm, but also keeping the pot au feu warm! Lift the lid and you'll find a double hotplate, and in the front there's a small oven which is useful for keeping food hot or even for cooking. Wood is loaded in through the side loading door
