Description |
This is a compact little stove immediate pre war period,
and will appeal to a minimalist taste.
Its by a revered old company FAURE who are still in
existence today. The enamel is in very good condition the
only fault is the handle on the top lid has had a knock.
this does not affect the use at all it is purely
aesthetic.
Please note that the mica windows are in excellent
condition.
It is around 70-75 years old and the condition is superior
to a usual stove of its age. All working parts are in
excellent condition, just connect the flue, light the
match and away you go ! It comes complete with the
original ash catcher This stove was designed for
coal and coke burning, it will burn wood easily too but in
smaller pieces. It will run on one charge of anthracite
for 12-18 hours
This is a beautiful, unusual stove and these photos do not
really do it justice.
Height 62cms (24½”)
Width 35cms (20¼”)
Depth 28cms (11 ”)
The flue size is 9.7cms (3¼”) 35cms (13¾") from the
floor
It can heat a room of around 110m3
Weight is about 50kg
